First Cooking Week

In Pathways last week
we cooked, explored our
senses and enhanced
our memories!
We had fun with the apple peeler
getting apples ready for our treat.

Tuesday we made stop lights
and talked about safety.

What are the colors of the rainbow?

Besides using food, we also used
markers and crayons to make rainbows.

We cut out our hands from toast
and chose a topping.

Some kids chose to do a foot!

We also traced our hands and
 then colored the picture.

Friday we made dinosaurs out of food.

To fit in with our food theme,
the kids colored a tablecloth.

Alphabet matching.

Play time.

What can we feel in the sensory area?

There are beans to pour, cups to fill,
and "scissors" to experiment with.

We are learning circles!

What colors are the circles?

Enjoying the playground.

Having a snack.

The kids are given an object
and asked to tell what it is.

They also say what color the object is
and then they put it in the box.

Time to color.

Everyone loves the bubbles!

Crawling through the tunnel.

Riding in the gym.

American hand prints.

Different materials and shapes
were used to make trains.

For Blue Day we talked about sea life.

Here we are making an octopus.

In the Preschool Prep Room puffy paint
was used to make a fish.

Playing Hi-Ho Cherry-O
