Festive Time

 There is an extra energy in
the building now that we have
celebrated Thanksgiving and are 
eagerly anticipating Christmas!

Before Thanksgiving we
talked about the many
things we have to be
thankful for.

We also made many 
Thanksgiving-related crafts!

One week in Room 8
we made the foods of the
Thanksgiving feast.

Of course there was pie!

Other rooms got in on the fun.

We have a Cornucopia of blessings!

This week everyone is
excited for Christmas.

We have started to decorate.

There are fun activities
and crafts.

Jesus is the reason for the season.

Pizza Feast

 We've been so busy in
preschool these last 
couple weeks! Two highlights
have been our Pizza Feast
 and Brown Day!

We gathered together to enjoy a pizza
lunch and talk about Thanksgiving.

We also discussed
balancing healthy foods.

Last week we had our monthly
Color Day and learned about Brown.

We named things that are brown.

Lots of us wore brown clothes.

We made brown owls.

Room 2

Room 2 is our Preschool Prep
Room.  These kids are being 
introduced to basic skills to 
prepare for a more structured
setting in preschool next year. 

We start the day with play time
and having fun with our friends!

Every day we get to
do an art project.

Mid-morning we clean up the toys and
then have a snack.  We say a special 
prayer before each time we eat.

After snack we sit down for our
Circle Time.  We sing songs, listen
to stories and have special learning
activities that we do.

Next is recess!  We go outside 
whenever possible to enjoy
the fresh air.

If it's raining or too cold, we
have a nice, big gym we can use.

When we are done with recess
it is time for lunch.

We are exhausted after a busy day!
After lunch we go down for naps.
At the end of the day we have Table
Time with puzzles and other
toys and wait to get picked up. 
It's a fun time in Room 2!
