PJ Day / Heart Health

 The Preschoolers had PJ Day
this week and spent several
days recently learning
about Heart Health.

We got to wear our pajamas to school!

We brought items from home
for a special Show-n-Tell.

We watched "Arthur's Sleepover."

We made a Snowman Snack!

Over the last week or so
we have been learning
 about our hearts and how
to keep them healthy.

We did a cool experiment
that showed how the heart
pumps blood through our body.

We got to listen to our hearts.

We watched a movie about
our hearts and heart health.

Exercise keeps our hearts pumping!

We did lots of differents movements
and exercises.

Different foods were discussed
and we decided if they were
good for us or not.

We even got to try some
healthy foods!

Winter Preschool Activities

 The Preschoolers have
had an active January!

Early in the month we
learned about Epiphany.

We made crowns and talked about
the three Wise Men following the
star to the Baby Jesus.

We heard about the gifts the
Wise Men gave.

We discussed what gifts
we could give to Jesus.

We played instruments
for a Music lesson.

Our Alphabet lessons have
continued in many ways.

We learn in different
ways like puzzles as well as
class time and worksheets.

We also practiced making
our letters in shaving cream!

We have made lots of Winter Crafts.

Some of these crafts were specific
to our celebration of the Color Day
for January: White.

We had special papers for
our White Day.

We listened to stories about Winter.

Our Sensory Table was filled
with White items to explore.

We played in the white
shaving cream and
thought of wintry
pictures to draw.
