Thanksgiving Feast

Our November cooking in Pathways

last week was a cornucopia

of Thanksgiving favorites!

Monday we made cornucopias with lots
of delicious fruit and a sugar cone.

We learned what "cornucopia" means and
talked about our many blessings!

A big round turkey made an appearance on Tuesday!

We made a turkey out of Rice Krispies and
decorated with various candies.

Another turkey visited on Wednesday.

This version was made from a sugar
cookie, candy corn and chocolate chips.

We talked about the First Thanksgiving
when we made teepees on Thursday.

We had apples with lots of
dipping options on Friday.

We talked about what all can be served with
our Thanksgiving Feast.

When we weren't cooking, we might have
 been doing the Turkey Hokey Pokey.

Or we might have been playing a
turkey dice matching game.

Or we might have been painting with water colors.

Or maybe having fun with friends in the gym.
