July 4th

Summer camp continued last
week with a celebration
of the 4th of July!
Star-spangled hats were made
for 4th festivities!

We read some holiday books.

We learned the meaning of
the parts of the flag.

The Art Center is always a big hit.

Our Sensory Table turned festive.

The kids enjoyed making
and decorating Oreo Pops.

Tuesday we used Skittles
for a fireworks experiment.

Warm and cold water were used.
What dissolves the Skittles faster?

Thursday we experimented
with Fireworks in a Jar.

Oil, water and food coloring
made an impressive display.

The Fireworks at the Arch still went on this year!

Patriotic play time with shaving cream,

We had to have Bomb Pops.

Hope everyone had a great 4th!
