Pre-K

 The big kids of Pre-K
have been busy this year!

During this first month of school we
have adjusted to our new rooms and schedules
and to being the oldest kids in the school.

As we wait for our friends to arrive,
we start the day with free play time.

Each day we have a craft to do.

We have been working on
pre-writing skills.

Along with our letters
we are learning numbers.

We have Chapel and regular
religion lessons.

Jesus loves us and God will protect us.

We have a daily snack, but we
also occasionally have a special
cooking project to go along with
our themes and lessons.

We have Science lessons as well.

This lesson taught us that some items
sink and others float.

We have special visitors during
the year.  This time we met
the Mehlville Fire Department.

We learned about Fire Safety.

Each month we have a special Color Day.
In September we learned about Blue.

Sometimes we use our tablets
for learning games.

Each month we bring in a 
special treasure from home
for Show-n-Tell.

We have recess and go outside or in the gym.
We love to play with our friends!
