Earth Day

 April is Earth Month!

We have been learning about
the world around us.

The beautiful flowers are starting
to bloom and we are using them
to discover scents, shapes,
textures and colors.

Besides flowers we have
 also been on the lookout
for the many different bugs and
birds that are out in nature.

Even our littlest friends
are in on the action!

Yesterday a few of us walked
around the property to see what
 beautiful colors we could find.

Of course we have played
outside as much as possible.

Purple Day

 The preschoolers had their
April Color Day last week.

In First Year, the kids made these
thumbprint grapes for their craft.

The Pre-K kids made Purple flowers.

Some special worksheets on
purple were colored.

We worked with purple Play-Doh!

We have continued to work on our
letters and numbers.

Lots of us wore purple clothes for the day.
