Preschool Visitors

The Preschool classes had a
fun week with visitors.
The Pre-K classes met Miss Kim
 who works with robotics.

Miss Kim demonstrating the
 LEGO robot her team built.

Miss Kim taught the preschoolers how
robots work and respond to commands.

Miss Kim shows the commands
the robots receive from a computer.

Designing and making buttons to wear.

The First Year Preschoolers
visited the choir loft in church.

Justin taught them about the
pipe organ and how it works.

The kids had the opportunity
to play the organ.

January Cooking

It was cooking week in the
Preschool Bonus Room
last week!
Apple pie in a cup was
one of our creations.

Another day we made cookie sandwiches
with whipped cream and sprinkles.

Thursday we used dough to make something.

Maybe a letter, number or shape.

Or the first letter of your name.

Friday we built snowmen.

We also designed our own pjs
because it was PJ Day.

With the crazy weather we got
a chance to get outside.

Song time in the First Experience Room.

Sing It

The children enjoy their time each
week singing with Ms. Janell.
Ms. Janell comes to visit on
Monday and Tuesday mornings.

Music is a lot of fun and we're also
learning a lot about music terms.

Colors of Winter

There are lots of colors
besides snowy white in
winter and we tried to find
 them in Pathways last week.
Water colors were added to
salt to make a colorful picture.

We talked about what salt
can be used for in winter.

Snow was added to these trees
 with our fingertips.

We found the bears in the woods
by painting over stencils.

If you haven't had enough of winter,
you can save it in a snow globe!

Taking the kids to the North Pole!

Sorting colors in the
Preschool Prep Room.

Fun with the bubble machine!

Playing with the new toys.

Naming animals and pictures on the
felt board in the First Experience Room.
