Holiday Happenings

We are having a great week in Pre-K!
Everyone is excited for Christmas.

Yesterday we practiced the letter M,
learned about most and least, and also
did a color-by-letter Gingerbread sheet.

We also made a hand print Christmas tree.

Merry Christmas!

Oh, Christmas Tree

Christmas is fast approaching
and we are feeling the
excitement in Pathways!

We made Christmas cards to
send to someone we love.

One day the cards were trees decorated
with lights made using our finger prints.

Wednesday we learned
how the star led the
Wise Men to Jesus!

We used our finger prints to
make Santa and his reindeer.

Friday we used pine needles
to paint a pine tree!

We added pine cone pieces.

Christmas Play-Doh.

Our holiday sensory table.

Christmas Tree number game.

Choosing a candy cane for a
cute holiday holder.

Ornaments for our family.

Christmas Bingo!

Getting outside while we can.

Red Day

We started our week off by
filming our song for the
Christmas festival on YouTube
this Sunday at 4:00 p.m.
Our week ended  with "Red Day."
We made Santa puppets and
stockings hung by the fire.

Deck the Halls

It's beginning to look a lot
like Christmas! The kids are
excited and we have been busy
in Pathways with Christmas
preparations and fun!

The Christmas mice
are in the building.

In preschool the kids made a clock,
so in Pathways we made a mouse:
Hickory Dickory Dock!

We decorated lots of Christmas trees.

These were painted using
 rice-filled balloons.

These trees were made using cookie cutters.

Jesus is the reason for the season!

We made beautiful "stained glass" crosses.

The angels came to tell us about Jesus' birth.

We used our hands to
 make the wings.

The beautiful art is decking the halls.

Our sensory bin is ready
for the holidays.

One of our table games is
 "Roll a Gingerbread".
