Pizza Feast

We are full of thanks and pizza!

Tables are set for Pizza Feast Day.

We worked on pizza papers.

We had a wonderful "cheesy" day.

Christmas Songs

We are having a great time 

singing with Mr. Justin.

We are practicing and learning some
songs for our Christmas program.

We will be joining with Resurrection Sunday School
 on Sunday the 22nd of December at 11 a.m.

Thanksgiving Feast

Our November cooking in Pathways

last week was a cornucopia

of Thanksgiving favorites!

Monday we made cornucopias with lots
of delicious fruit and a sugar cone.

We learned what "cornucopia" means and
talked about our many blessings!

A big round turkey made an appearance on Tuesday!

We made a turkey out of Rice Krispies and
decorated with various candies.

Another turkey visited on Wednesday.

This version was made from a sugar
cookie, candy corn and chocolate chips.

We talked about the First Thanksgiving
when we made teepees on Thursday.

We had apples with lots of
dipping options on Friday.

We talked about what all can be served with
our Thanksgiving Feast.

When we weren't cooking, we might have
 been doing the Turkey Hokey Pokey.

Or we might have been playing a
turkey dice matching game.

Or we might have been painting with water colors.

Or maybe having fun with friends in the gym.

God is Our Strength

We had science and religion

lessons this week in Preschool.

We discovered "How Strong Are You?" in Science. 

We used our muscles to crumple newspaper
and realized it's not as easy as it looks.

Mr. Justin talked to us about being
"thankful" and how "God is so
Good" in Chapel.

Turkey and Pie!

We had two full days of fun while

 the Preschool conferences were

going on and it was also our 

monthly color days this past week.

We used both hands to make turkeys.

We even used some bird seed for texture.

Tuesday we made another hand print turkey.

Wednesday we made pie.

What are you thankful for?

On Thursday's Brown Day
we sponge-painted squirrels.

We added tissue for the fluffy tail
and made a cute face.

On Friday's Brown Day we made a
beehive with thumb print bees.

During preschool that morning
the kids made brown bears.

We play matching games
to improve our memory.
