Colorful Canvas

 We painted our way through
the week with November topics.

These colorful pumpkins were
painted with watercolors
 on salt and glue.

We talked about Thanksgiving
as we designed these Native
American paintings.

We made turkeys a couple different days
 and discussed our Thanksgiving traditions.

Everyone has been noticing the
beautiful colors of the leaves
lately.  We made our own Fall
trees on Friday.

We worked together to
finish this puzzle!

This Noah's Ark puzzle has
been a favorite recently.

Happy November

It's here! God's colorful month!

Gorgeous shades of
November all around us.

Playground time is doubly fun.

We had Jesus Time
with Pastor Nick.

Thank You God!  A big thank you
to the Conference parents also -
LOVED the in-person talks.

The Education hall shows it will soon
be Thanksgiving.  Turkeys, Indian corn
and Native American art fill the walls.

God's Blessings to all our wonderful families.

Spooky Stories

We told some Halloween tales
last week in our monthly books!

Monday we made haunted house books.

Inside we told about how
we would decorate
our haunted house
and who would live
there with us.

Our ghost stories talked about
what is spooky about Halloween
and what they like best.

Different ghost books told what
the kids would name a ghost and
if it would be nice or spooky.

Another activity was a ghost
color-matching game.

The end of the week brought books
about pumpkins.

The kids told us if they carve
or decorate a pumpkin and
where they put it.

Of course we talked about
Halloween costumes and
trick-or-treating!
