November Blessings

Our Preschool friends are picking up
speed as we get closer to the Holidays.
There's talk of celebrating
special days, colder weather,
turkeys and blinking lights.
Happy November!
There's no mistaking the time of
year in the education wing.

Lots of acorns, turkeys, and football
art bathed in many shades of brown.
Complements of the little artists.
We have been discussing the letter I
this week and the number 7.

The word of the month is BLESSINGS.
May God Bless and keep you!!

This month Vicar Chris shared the
blessings of the weather with us.

Our little ones enjoyed hands on
time with a rain stick.
God's love to all!

A Cornucopia of Crafts

Pathways is busy making
crafts for November and
Thanksgiving.
In the Preschool Bonus Room we
 have been talking about the
 changing weather.

We used these giant leaves to make
our own leaf picture.

We crushed the leaves to make our own design.
After Halloween, we learned about
the next holiday: Thanksgiving!

We made these cute
turkey headbands.

Froot Loops were sorted into colors
to make these colorful turkeys.

QTips were used to paint detailed corn.

Snack time in Room 4.
Play time in the First Experience Room.

Spooky Stories

In Pathways last week we wrote
stories about Halloween.
In the Preschool Bonus Room we created
books to talk about one of our favorite
 times of year: Halloween!

One day we made black cat books and
wrote about cats, pets, or animals.

Another day we worked on our cutting skills
and made these fun ghost books.

This was party day for some, so we wrote
about what we enjoyed the most
 at our preschool party.

Friday we made either Frankenstein heads
or pumpkin patches using a paper towel roll.

We wrote about what we do for Halloween
or what we do with pumpkins.

Halloween Bingo was a fun game to play.

We are loving the nice fall weather!

Play time in Room 4.

The Preschool Prep Room made
a cute candy corn craft.

We are learning our colors by sorting
and working on patterns.

Snack time!

The First Experience kids out and about!

We checked out the decorations
 around the church.

What does a pumpkin feel like?

Happy Fall!

Halloween Treats

Pathways cooked up some
 Halloween treats last week!
The Preschool Bonus room
made owl snacks.

Whoooo wants one??

We also made "pumpkins" out of oranges.

We made our own jack-o-lanterns.

We had fun watching popcorn pop!

We used the popcorn to make
these spooky hands.

Another day we had fun with candy corn.

Don't let this spider snack crawl away!

We made a spider craft, too.

Playing with the magnetic dolls.

Building with the dominoes.

Sorting our colors in the Preschool Prep room.

Tea Party!

Having a good time on the playground equipment.

Racing around in the First Experience room.
