Paint-It Week

We explored different methods 

of painting in the preschool bonus 

room and learned with puzzles

 in the preschool prep room.

Last week we used watercolors to
paint these coffee filter hearts.

We have been talking about
LOVE all month.

The kids had several choices on how to paint these
cats, such as cars, trucks or balloons.

We used our feet to make puppies!

Cats, dogs and other pets are loving.

We used our fingertips to make hearts.

How can we show love to others?

Friday we painted flowers.

Sometimes people give flowers to show they care.

Nurse Ali

Nurse Ali came and spoke to our

 Pre-K classes about our hearts

 and how to keep them healthy.

Talking about how our heart is a
 muscle and ways to keep it strong. 

Ali used an air pump to
demonstrate how our hearts
pump blood through our bodies.

The preschoolers had to choose 

which foods were heart

 healthy and which were not. 

The Month of Love

Wow, it's February!

We are decorated and ready 

for the Month of LOVE.

Our pink days were the Pinkiest days ever.

Lots of LOVE talk about our Savior
Jesus Christ, the Biggest Love ever given!

Because God Loved us,
we love each other.

What a great turn out for our 
Art Walk Evening!

Winter Warmth

With last week's extreme cold

we took the opportunity to talk 

about staying warm in winter

 and also the warmth we feel

 from the love of Valentine's Day.

We made snow people and discussed
how to dress warmly in the cold.

We talked about how
animals stay warm.

Do bears wear shoes?
How are bear paws
different from our feet?

We have started talking about Valentine's Day!

We are loved by our families, friends and Jesus!

We worked on numbers and
matching with these puzzle hearts.

We share love with others by
making and sending cards.
