Firefighter Visit

The fire department came to visit

 the preschool classes last week. 

The preschoolers learned about
 the tools and objects on the
 fire truck that aid the firefighters.

The firefighters dressed in their
  gear to help show the preschoolers
not to be afraid of them. 

The firefighters gear can weigh
as much as 75 pounds when 
carrying accessories too!

Firefighters aren’t scary.
Preschoolers were taught not to hide
 from them but to call out for help.

We watched as the firefighters had 

to rush to answer an emergency call. 

Thankful for all they do!
